This is one of the first toners I’ve seen that comes in a spray bottle and I think that’s absolutely genius!

Cosrx AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner is an effective toner that prevents whiteheads and blackheads and treats flaky skin caused by lack of moisture. It’s made with 10% apple water which provides gentle exfoliation to get rid of dead skin cells and excess oil from your skin. If you suffer from blackheads, especially on your nose, you have to give this product a try. I don’t recommend you use it every day but at least thrice a week to see great results and use it during your pm skincare routine only. This is one of the best Korean toners for oily skin out there.

It’s made with 80% ginseng root water which is its key ingredient that helps to hydrate and nourish the skin. This also gives the toner a subtle ginseng scent. It’s also made with 2% niacinamide and 0.4% adenosine to help with sebum regulation, anti-aging, and barrier repair.

Last but definitely not least, the Isntree green tea fresh toner. This is a hydrating toner infused with 80% fresh green tea from Jeju. They recently changed the packaging so the picture above is the new packaging and I think it’s great. Green tea is such a great antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties making it great for even acne-prone skin. I think this is one of the best Korean toners for oily skin. Highly recommend.

Tips on how to use toners the right way

 

• Toners should be used immediately after cleansing.
• Apply your toner when your skin is still damp so that it can absorb properly into your skin
• Apply your toner using your palms. This will save you so much product. Just make sure your hands are clean, add a few drops and then pat it on your skin.
• Make sure your toner is completely absorbed before proceeding with the next step in your skincare routine.
• If you’re using a toner that contains AHA/BHA, don’t use it daily. This can cause irritation to your skin. Use it 2-3 times a week only.
• When trying a new toner for the first time, always patch test before applying it to your face. This applies to all your new skincare products.
• Use won’t see results right away. Be patient.
• Always remember that skincare is not supposed to be irritating/burning. If you experience that when using your toner, this means that it’s not the right one for you and you should stop using it immediately.
