FAQs about Korean toner pads
Are toner pads necessary?
Toner pads are not essential for everyone, but they can be helpful for those who desire a convenient and efficient way to apply toner, prefer pre-soaked pads over liquid toners, or have specific skincare concerns such as excess oil, congestion, or uneven texture. Toner pads can aid in removing impurities, provide gentle exfoliation, balance the skin’s pH, and enhance the absorption of subsequent skincare products.
Are toner pads better than toners?
I would say they are basically the same thing. Just like the name implies, toner pads are just pads presoaked in toners. However, I feel like toner pads could have additional benefits because some of the pads offer exfoliating properties and can be used as masks.
How do you use Korean toner pads?
After cleansing, take a pre-soaked pad from the packaging and gently swipe it across your face, avoiding the eye area. Start from the center of your face and move outwards, covering your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. If you want to use it as a mask, place your toner pads on problem areas for a few minutes and then wipe it all over your face. Allow the toner to absorb into your skin before applying any additional skincare products.
How often should you use toner pads?
I don’t recommend using toner pads daily but a few times a week is good. 3-4 times per week.
What to do with the leftover toner pad essence?
After finishing up a container of toner pads, sometimes you are left with some essence at the bottom. Don’t throw that away! Get those compressed sheet mask capsules and put a few inside the essence. Let the capsules be fully absorbed and you have yourself a nice sheet mask. Works perfectly and you’re not wasting any product.
