Website theme
17th avenue
I have been using the theme from 17th Avenue called Charlotte and I really love it. 17th Avenue has some of the most beautiful WordPress themes I’ve seen and they are so affordable.
Their installation guide is very informative so you can set it up by yourself and it’s very customizable which I love.
Étsy
Etsy is also another great place to find beautiful WordPress themes at affordable prices.
Email marketing
We don’t own our social media followers and one day if Instagram or TikTok decides to close your account, that’s it. You’ve basically lost everything. This is why having an email list is so important. When people sign up to your email list, this means that they want to hear more from and it’s the perfect place to build more personal connections with your supporters. And your email list is yours, nobody can ever take that away from you and you can contact the people on your list anytime you want.
Mailmunch
Mailmunch is a free WordPress plugin that makes it easy to set up different signup forms and pops around your site to collect these emails. You can customize it and even set up an auto-responder for free. This is perfect if you just want to collect these emails for now and you’re not ready to start sending newsletters.
MailerLite
This is the email marketing software I currently use and I really love it. With MailerLite, you can create sign-up forms and pops to embed on your site to collect those emails and send them newsletters as well. It’s completely free for your first 1000 subscribers and they have the BEST (cheapest) prices when you’re ready to upgrade.
Keyword research
Key search
If you are looking forward to making your blog rank on the first page of Google, then you have to do keyword research prior to writing any new blog post on your site. the best keyword research tool out there for beginners is key search.
I have been using key search since I started blogging and I am still using it. It makes keyword research so much easier and it comes with so many great features that help you to make sure your SEO is on point. These include content assistant which makes it easier to write blogposts, rank tracker, site audit, and other features to help you spy on your competitors to see what keywords they are ranking for and much more.
Writing tools
Grammarly
If you haven’t heard of Grammarly by now, you’re probably living under a rock. It provides real-time suggestions and feedback to enhance the quality and clarity of written content, making it a valuable tool for students, professionals, and writers looking to enhance their writing skills and ensure error-free documents.

ChatGPT is a highly advanced language model that can understand and generate human-like text. It’s used for various tasks, from answering questions to generating content, and it’s a significant advancement in natural language processing technology. I use ChatGPT to help me generate ideas, and social media captions, outline blogposts for me, define words for me and so much more.
Graphic design
Canva
I love canva and that’s the only graphic design tool I use to make my Pinterest pins, posters and so much more. I’m sure you know what canva is so learn how to use it.
Courses And ebooks
When it comes to spending money on buying courses and ebooks, I’m always very careful because there is nothing I regret more than spending money on something that wasn’t worth the price tag.
