College is such a fun place to be. But it can get stressful at times. In today’s post, I will be showing you everything I carry in my college backpack. I will also be sharing 5 things you should never leave your dorm/house without. So let’s get started.
I love organization so everything in my bag is in the right place. First, let’s start with my pencil case.
Pencil case
Table of Contents
pens
Pencils
Mini ruler
Highlighters
Calculator
Eraser
Sharpener
Sticky notes(they are very useful for writing important points)
Since I normally don’t go back to my dorm room early, I carry my purse with me all the time. Inside it, you will find my
Debit cards
School identity card
Library ID card
Some money
Passport photographs (you never know when you will need one so I always have some inside there, just in case)
Business cards/discount cards etc
My mini bag
Apart from my purse and pencil case, I also have a small cute mini bag. It’s just a random small bag with my random little things. When you open it, you will see
Some bubble gums
Chapstick
Compact powder
Soft tissue
Sanitary pads
My earphones ?(still part of the wired gang)
phone charger
power bank
keys
My shades
A pocket perfume
That’s all I have in my mini bags which all go into my main backpack.
Inside my main bag, all you will find are just books. My textbooks, handouts, notebooks, planner, laptop and my water bottle (stay hydrated guys)
The organization is definitely 12/10.
5 essential things you shouldn’t leave your dorm without
The 5 things I am about to mention are things are personal things I don’t leave my room without. These are:
1.Earphones:this just had to be my number one on the list. Earphones are life Savers. They will save you from a lot of talks and it helps you to remain focus. Just plug them in when walking to class and listen to your favorite podcast or audiobook. You will surely gain something within those few minutes.
2.Chapstick: having dry/chapped lips are a big no-no for me. I always love to keep my lips hydrated and soft all the time. This is very important especially when the weather is getting colder because your lips will definitely get dry quicker
3.Some cash: You will never know when you will need some money so make sure you have some with you all the time. It doesn’t have to be a huge amount.
4.Planner: if you don’t have a planner yet, I highly recommend you get one. Planners have a special place in my heart. I literally have my entire college life organized in a planner. It’s a great way to keep track of all your works, to-do lists, and some important things.
5.Power bank/ portable charger: Always make sure you have your phone/laptop charger with you every day. The battery life of these devices these days don’t last for too long. You will never know when your phone will just die off and keeping your phone switched off for a long time is not advisable because of emergencies (your class might be canceled/rescheduled or your friend might need you).
That is all I have in my college backpack. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did while writing it. Make sure you check out these great college-related posts:
