One of my biggest new year resolutions is to be more organized and productive.
Over the years, I have tried a lot of apps that promised to help me stay organized and productive. Well, some of them worked while others just didn’t tick all the boxes in my checklist.
In today’s post, I will be sharing my top 3 apps that I use to stay organized and productive. As a college student and a blogger, I really need to get my life together.
Asana
If you’ve read what’s on my iPhone post, you will know how much I just love this app.
It just gets the work done. You can organize your goals and tasks into boards so that you can divide them into smaller ones.
Some use it to write down their to-do list but I prefer to use a separate app for that.
Within the app, you can even collaborate with others! Maybe you’re working on a project or you’ve employees.
This is a great app to use to see how many tasks are getting accomplished daily or to chat or to simply assign tasks to your partners. It’s that amazing. It has a free plan and a paid version, available both on android and IOS.
Any.do
Any.do was an app I accidentally discovered when I was looking for the perfect app that I can use to write my daily tasks and be able to track them easily. The layout is very simple and has fewer distractions. You can write down all your tasks for the week and set reminders for important ones.
I use this app mostly for college work because trust me, college will have you almost about to lose your mind but with this app, I manage to stay sane. My college todo list basically looks like something like this.
As you can see, I can check off any tasks I am done with and in my opinion, that’s great because it will keep me motivated to accomplish the rest for the day because nothing is more satisfying than check off your tasks from the list.
I found out I became almost twice as productive and organized as I was before and I even plan to start using it for my daily blogging tasks because it’s just great. It also has a free and paid version, available both on iOS and android.
Did you know that you dont have to open the app all the time? you can access your tasks and the calendar by swiping left!
Timer
I found out that setting a timer to get things done actually helps me to stay focus and do what I’m supposed to do before it goes off.
I always love to challenge myself to get that specific task done before the timer goes off. It helps me to focus even more and not get distracted by anything.
The normal timer that comes with my phone is the best so far for me because honestly, I haven’t found any free one that’s great.
If you’re willing to spend some coins, get forest! It’s an amazing app that allows you to plant a tree to stay focus, if you leave before the timer goes off, your tree will die. Its less than $4 dollars and I am surely going to get it next year and I think you should too.
Staying productive and organized is a must if you want to accomplish more in 2020. Try these apps and watch your life come together.
What are your favorite apps to stay productive and organized?
Are you more of a paper and pen type or digital type? Let me know all about it in the comments section.

I use a bullet journal to keep me organised, I like to get creative with it and it does help keep me on top of things! I also use the app flipd to keep me focused, there’s a free and paid version but free one is fine for me!

These are some really great apps, I’ve definitely used the timer app before but I haven’t actually heard of the other ones. I am forever making lists in my notes app so maybe I should give one of these a try! X

I have heard lovely things about the tree app. One feels so productive meeting a goal and planting a little tree. People have built whole forests, and it is good to give yourself a beak from screen time for a while. 🙂

Oooh! I love using Asana! It is great to keep track of everything happening on different platforms. I used to use Any.Do. Love that it looks cleaner now compared to before. Thanks for sharing these apps!

I am a super organized person and I LOVE to-do lists and apps that help me get my work done. I use my timer a LOT (I have several set right now for tasks I have to complete this afternoon), but I’ve never heard of Asana and Any.do! I’ll definitely check them out. Thanks for the recommendations and best of luck with school!
