Have you ever thought of growing longer lashes naturally? If no, then I think you should start considering it.
A lot of people struggle every day to find ways to make their eyelashes noticeable and that is when mascara and false lashes come to our minds.
Unfortunately, this mascara causes our lashes to break (talking from experience) and false lashes can damage our natural lashes if used excessively. We all know that eyelashes play a big role in protecting our eyes from drying out and dust so why not grow our natural ones.? What I’m about to share with you was what I did to grow my eyelashes this long.

The magic oil that grew my lashes that long was castor oil (that is the exact one I use). You NEED to have a bottle of castor oil. I have been using castor oil on my hair to thicken it and make it fuller but I never thought of using them on my lashes.
I started using it on my lashes when I ran out of olive oil one day. Yeah, I used to use olive oil on my Eyelashes after watching a YouTube tutorial but it wasn’t as effective as the castor oil. I must say experimenting can lead you to discover amazing things. I literally started seeing changes on my lashes in just two days! That was the most amazing discovery ever.
When I apply the castor oil.
I ONLY apply it at night when I am about to sleep. Your eyes have to be closed after application because if the castor oil gets into your eyes, it’s very irritating and it burns.
How I apply castor oil.
I use a cotton bud to get some of the Castor oil on it then I gently apply it on the eyelashes. Make sure it touches the roots. Then I do the same to my lower lashes very carefully to avoid it from entering my eyes then I shut my eyes till the following morning.
You can also use a small paintbrush or a clean mascara brush/wand for application. Make sure the castor oil is original and unrefined if you want to see a result.
I also started mixing castor oil with aloe Vera and a drop of vitamin E oil and the results are even more amazing! Since aloe Vera is in gel form, the mixture stays on the eyelashes for a longer period of time and this gives your lashes the opportunity to absorb all the goodness from this mixture! Try it for just 3 days and I promise you, you won’t look back again.

BONUS TIPS!
1. Don’t use mascara at all till you have achieved your required result as mascara causes breakage.
2. Stop plucking/dragging your eyelashes.
3. You can also apply castor oil on your eyebrows if you want them to be thicker and bushy.
4. Apply castor oil to your hair If you want your thin hair to be thick and healthier.

At 58 & a breast cancer survivor (16yrs), my brows & lashes are thin (chemo & radiation). I’m not a fan of the extensions. I prefer natural. I am going to give your suggestion a try. Thank you!

If I wanted to mix up some in a bottle what would you say that the measurements would be? Like more castor oil than anything (of course) a little bit of aloe Vera and even smaller amount of Vitamin E oil?
rumaisah says
Hey. I don’t use aloe Vera anymore because it messes up the whole mixture. You can apply the aloe Vera first and then once it’s dry, you can follow up with the serum. Yes, the castor oil should be more. The ratio should be 3:1. Hope that helps
