My thoughts on the beauty of Joseon calming serum
When I took the product out from the packaging, the first thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous light green color of the serum. This isn’t due to any artificial color but the natural color of the ingredients.
The serum is thick yet very lightweight and it spreads easily and sinks into the skin almost immediately. Another thing I really appreciate is the fact that it doesn’t have any noticeable scent. Most products I’ve tried that contain green tea tend to have a strong minty scent. This is an exception.
After application, it gives my skin a very subtle glow and as someone with combination skin, this will be a great serum to use during summer.
The only downside to this serum is that it’s not hydrating enough. If you’re looking for deep hydration, I recommend you layer this with more hydration products but when it comes to soothing the skin, this gets the job done.
My skin sometimes gets irritated especially when I’m constantly trying new products or shaving my face(Don’t be like me, get yours professionally done!). This product has been a lifesaver. I apply it after cleansing and toning. Then I follow it up with a moisturizer and sunscreen and I’m good to go. So if you have sensitive skin or you’re on tretinoin, you will enjoy the soothing and calming effect. It’s Cruelty-free, Paraben free, and Mineral oil.

Final thoughts on beauty of Joseon calming serum
This is a 7/10 serum. It really soothes the skin and this will always be a serum I will reach for when my skin is acting up. However, I wish it was more hydrating but I have other products to layer together with this to get the result I want so it’s not a big deal. Did I mention that it provides anti-aging benefits as well?
I hope you enjoy this post as much as I did while writing it.
