Dr. Rashel Vitamin C serum review
Dr. Rashel is a skincare brand that originated in China. It was founded by Dr. Rashel, who is a renowned figure in the field of skincare and beauty. it offers products targeting different skincare concerns such as aging, acne, pigmentation, hydration, and more. Their product line includes facial cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers, masks, and creams. They also have specific product ranges like their Gold Collagen and Vitamin C series, which are so popular.
Their vitamin C serum in particular caught my attention after I’ve seen some hype about it so I decided to get it and try it for myself. In this post, I will be sharing my Dr Rashel vitamin C serum review and I will be telling you if it’s worth the hype or not.
Let’s get into it.

Table of Contents
First of all, getting my hands on the original serum was not easy because there are so many counterfeit products out there. I got mine from a local beauty supply store I trust. I Highly recommend you get yours from their official site if they ship to your country or check Amazon for a store with a lot of positive reviews regarding the product.
Packaging
The serum comes in a 50ml glass bottle with a dropper. It was kinda weird to me because I’m so used to frosted glass bottles and plastic ones. The glass is tinted to help protect the serum from light exposure, as vitamin C can degrade when exposed to light Which was great.
Ingredients
Aqua, glycerin, propylene glycol, corn gluten amino acids, glycereth-26, glyceryl polymethacrylate, pvm/ma copolymer, butylene glycol, yeast beta-glucan, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, carbomer, triethanolamine, hydrolyzed sclerotium gum, phenoxyethanol, glycosaminoglycans, hydrolyzed collagen, chlorphenesin, sodium hyaluronate, 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid, fragrance, ci 16255, ci 19140
Texture and consistency
It has a lightweight non-greasy texture. It absorbs easily into the skin and has a watery consistency.
My thoughts
I have been using the serum for about a month now as part of my morning skincare routine and I have been noticing slight improvement since I started using it. My face in general is brighter and my dark spots are slowly fading away. It does have a slight scent but it goes away immediately after you blend it. It works well with my other serums and for the price, it’s not that bad. Did I also mention it’s very hydrating? I like to use my favorite hyaluronic acid after toner before serums but with this product, I have been skipping the hyaluronic acid as it’s super hydrating, that’s a plus.
In general, this is a really good vitamin serum and it’s a very good one if you’re just getting started with vitamin C because of how gentle it’s formulated.
Will I repurchase? No. I just believe I have tried way better vitamin C serums especially Korean vitamin C serums and I like them more.
Other Dr. Rashel products I want to try in the future
There are some Dr Rashel products on my wishlist that I will love to try in the future because I feel like they will be really good. Some of them are:
- Dr. Rashel’s hyaluronic acid serum
- Dr Rashel retinol serum
- Dr. Rashel Vitamin E Hydrating & Restoring Skin Care Kit
Final thoughts
The Dr Rashel vitamin C serum is really good and I will recommend it for beginners and for those looking for a gentle formula. It’s very affordable so this is great for students and teenagers. When you’re purchasing, just make sure you get it from an authorized retailer because there are so many fakes out there.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. I have also been hearing a lot of bad things about it so I guess they are so many fakes out there or they changed their formulation.
