Have you been feeling all over the place lately? This is your sign to get organized and stay organized.
I find it extremely difficult to do anything in a cluttered, messy environment so I am constantly trying to organize my space and mind too.
Organizing helps you to become more productive and in today’s post, I am going to be sharing with you how you can organize your life and what to always organize.
Without any further delay, let’s get into it.
How to organize your life and stay organized

Write everything thing down
This is a mistake that a lot of people make. They think that they can store everything in their brain. Your brain is for thinking and once an idea pops up, you should write it down.
For writing my daily to-do list, I love to use these daily printable planners. They come with the days of the week written on them and I think they have all the blocks needed for successful daily planning.
If you prefer to have a weekly overview, then this weekly schedule is perfect for you.
Organize your closet
Organizing your closet will put you at ease, trust me. Take a few hours on a faithful day and use that time to arrange your closet. Any clothes that you know you will no longer wear again, remove them and donate them. Don’t hold on to those pants you think you might fit in very soon. Just give it all away.
Use hangers and stackable storage bins to arrange your items if you have little closet space.
Create a morning routine
Morning routines are amazing and the best thing about them is that you can always switch things up. A great morning routine can literally change your life and make you very productive and get so much done in a day. Here is how to create a morning routine if you’re interested in starting one as well.
Declutter your laptop and phone
I can remember how stressed I used to be when I was going through my laptop because of how cluttered and slow it was because of so many unnecessary files. Go through your laptop, delete any unnecessary files, organize the rest into folders for easy access, go through your spam mails and delete them. For your phone, delete any duplicate pictures, delete apps you haven’t used in a very long time and close the unused accounts.
Track your income and spending
If you want to be financially free, then you need to track your income and spending. This will help you to know where most of your money is going and how you can manage it if possible. I started using this mobile app called money manager and I was shocked to find out that almost 17% of my money goes to transportation. I really need to get a car!
For tracking your bills, this printable bill tracker does the trick for me. It’s very easy to use and it gets the job done.
Plan your meals in advance
Before I started meal planning, I would waste so much time thinking about what to cook for dinner or what I have left in my pantry that I can use to put a meal together.
Planning your meals especially with a great meal planner like this one can make things easier for you. This particular planner helps you to plan your meals daily, weekly, and even months in advance. It helps you to keep track of your inventory and it comes with a grocery list which is amazing.
Plan your goals for the future
Have goals and plan for them accordingly. Do something every day that will take you a step closer to your dreams. Write down your goals, break down big tasks into smaller ones and work on them easily.
Start using a planner
I love planners and I love making them. Planners can help you to stay organized because you have all your plans and activities in one place. This life planner is what I am currently using and it has everything I need and more. I wrote about it here so make sure you read it if you’re interested in learning more about it.
Use containers to sort things in your drawers
If you have big drawers, using containers and dividers will help you in keeping the place looking tidy.
Spend at least 10-20 mins tidying up everyday
If you don’t have a lot of time to spend cleaning, spending 10-20 mins tidying up can really help. Use that 20 mins to quickly wash the dishes, put away your laundry or arrange your room. Doing this daily won’t allow your space to ever get messy again.
That brings us to the end of this post. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did while writing it.
